Why Whale Tank?

Super Bowl XVII will be the largest entertainment event of the year. America's premier sports contest will attract thousands of fans and billions of dollars to its host city of New Orleans on Super Bowl weekend.

The Super Bowl is also known as one of the world’s best super-elite networking events.

Whale Tank was created to bridge the gap between the Super Bowl’s elite patrons and startup businesses to give the weekend an entrepreneurial silver lining.

Travis Laurendine is the organizer of the inaugural Whale Tank . He is a technology and entertainment entrepreneur and previously founded Codemkrs and Volnado.

Julie Hamm is the organizer of Whale Tank 2014 in New York City. She works for the New York Knicks and MSG Entertainment.

Gerard Cox is a co-producer of Whale Tank. He is the founder of Creole and is currently raising an impact investment fund Second Line Ventures.

Chris Kelly is the organizer of Whale Tank 2016 in San Francisco. He was previously Facebook's Chief Privacy Officer.
